I'm putting together a big idea and I need YOUR help!! If you play an instrument and would love the feel of getting on stage in front of a large crowd with your own band, but lack the time or real ambition to be a gigging musician, then this is your answer. The idea is to create 10 bands that can learn 4 songs each to play at a to-be-determined venue some months in the future. Each band will be arranged according to distance from other players so practice is easy to arrange. Songs will be decided from a pool of songs submitted by the players. It will probably only require one or two practices a month to get good at 4 songs and at the end we'll have a big party/concert!!
SO, if you are a musician and this sounds like fun, please contact me with what you play, what city you live in, and how to get in touch with you. To do it right we need 10 drummers, 15-20 guitar players, 10 bass players, 10 vocalists and a mix of other talent (horns, keys, etc.).
